Deliver us, oh Howard.

Howard Dean is launching an extensive tour of the deep south in hopes of reclaiming it from conservatives. On Air America radio he said, quote, "The south shall rise again - and when it does it'll have a 'D' behind its name." His last stop was Mississippi, where the auditorium was so packed that many people had to be turned away. The major of the town gave Howard Dean the key to the city. No one expected this tour to be so well-recieved by Southerners. Next Dean travels to Tennessee and Georgia.

Hopefully he doesn't forget Alabama.

In other news:

Dean isn't the only one whoring it up to the South - Bush is coming.

That's right.

George W. Bush is headed to Montgomery, Alabama to promote his plan of ass-raping, er, of privitizing Social Security. The BSC chapter of College Democrats may carpool down to the capitol just to stand outside and scream lewd shit and maybe throw things if the mood should strike us. Not sure just when this is happening, but it is soon.

So, who's in?
